How to Find a Pet Detective using the Directory
The easiest way to find a pet detective that can assist you in your area is to click on the state or province where you live (or where your pet went missing if away from home). This will bring up a map with markers for all the pet detectives in that state and those willing to travel to that state. If you need specialized services, such as a tracking/trailing dog or assistance catching a shy, hard-to-trap animal, then you may want to use the Advanced Search form. Please note that Missing Pet Partnership does not employ the Missing Animal Response (MAR) Technicians listed in this directory and some of those listed are businesses that charge for their services.
If you click on a state/province, this will bring up a map with markers for all the pet detectives in that state AND those willing to travel to that state.

My own lost dog Rudy, dragged me into the lost pet world. I wanted every piece of information that I could obtain in order to help to bring him home. I found that the more I advocated for him, the more people surfaced requesting information and resources that have not been available in our state.
I am Rudy's voice; he and I advocate for the rights and efforts necessary to recover all lost pets. As a participant in the Delaware Animal Welfare Task Force. I submitted a written proposal as well as a personal presentation to establish a statewide lost and found pet registry. I have collaborated in the development of that registry. While the registry is still in the infancy stage, it did go live in January 2016. It is my hope that other states will follow. Then all states can connect the dots and form one nationwide lost and found pet registry!

• it’s rare to actually find the lost pet on either a dog-supported or humans-only search—either kind of search is just one part of a variety of search & rescue strategies
• the search will help focus your follow-up work; with my email/phone support you will need to make & post flyers and/or posters, maintain feeding stations, borrow/buy a game camera to monitor feeding stations and traps, visit shelters, and maybe more

As an individual certified in Missing Animal Response, I, along with my team of volunteers, will apply all available resources and knowledge to reunite owners with their lost beloved pets. I am also a Certified Veterinary Assistant, which enables me to give proper emergency medical care, if needed, when any animal is found. Hound Hunters believes that lost pet owners are suffering enough with the loss of their pet, therefore there is absolutely NO charge for our services. As the founder, I dedicate ALL of my time to bring your dog home where he/she belongs! There is NO other service comparable to Hound Hunters in the region. Most other groups who search for lost dogs, either charge an exorbitant rate, or do so in their "free time", and NONE of the volunteer groups has anyone with any of my appropriate, invaluable training in lost dog search and recovery.
