Her Bloodhound Ellie Mae is certified by MAR in both cat detection and MAR trailing work. Maryland

This MAR team services the greater Barry County region of Southwest Michigan and has a background in wilderness skills, tracking, search-and-rescue (for lost people), and training search-and-rescue dogs. Missing Pet Partnership volunteers are available for in-person lost pet consultations, development of a lost pet search plan, lost pet behavioral profiling, analysis of physical evidence, and physical searches for missing cats utilizing cat detection search dogs. We also rent out equipment (humane cat traps, dog traps, florescent lost pet posters, listening devices, 2 million candle power spotlights, surveillance cameras, etc.) along with step-by-step instructions on how to recover a lost dog or cat. Wyoming

She has over six years of experience in working search-and-rescue dogs (area search, human remains detection, drug detection, and trailing), including response to disasters. Cathy's dog Zoe is dual purpose trained and is used to detect lost cats, trail (track) the scent of lost dogs, and search for various species like hamsters, reptiles, ferrets, etc. If they are available and are called out within two weeks of the pet's disappearance, Cathy and Zoe are willing to travel anywhere in the USA.
