SEATTLE VOLUNTEER TRAINING / CALENDAR OF EVENTS
VOLUNTEER MEETINGS - Our volunteers meet every Thursday evening for outdoor dog training and every other Tuesday night for planning meetings. All dog training sessions and planning meetings are open to visitors. If you have any questions about volunteering, please call our office at (253) 529-3999 and leave a message.

Tuesday August 3rd - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - MPP Fundraising Committee will meet at the Kent Senior Center, 600 E. Smith Street, Kent, WA 98030 to continue planning for our 2011 Whine Sleuth fundraising event.

Saturday August 7th - 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Woofstock 2010 Pet Adoption / Music Festival - University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA - MPP will have a booth at this fun day for animals and families. Come meet our pet detective search dogs and sign up to volunteer!
Sunday August 8th - 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - "Ask The Vet" Pet Health Fair - Highroad Community Church, 25610 Lawson Street, Black Diamond, 98010. Missing Pet Partnership pet detectives will be on hand to answer any lost pet behavior related questions. Come meet our K9 and feline pet detectives!
Tuesday August 10th - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION - Kent Senior Center, 600 E. Smith Street, Kent, WA 98030. Anyone (adults and young adults ages 15 and up) is welcome to attend this meeting and learn how to volunteer for Missing Pet Partnership. Come learn how you can help recover lost pets in your community!

All MPP Volunteers are encouraged to attend our General Volunteer meetings held once a month. We will debrief searches, debrief lost pet investigations, and conduct some element of lost pet recovery training.

Saturday September 11th - 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - City of Federal Way K-9 Karnival - Steele Lake Park, 2410 S. 312th St., Federal Way, WA - K9 Training & MPP pet detectives will be on hand with our K9 pet detectives and target cats. We will have a booth and we will also train our search dogs at this event.

Thursday September 30th - 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - City of Federal Way Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. This is a 28-hour, 8 week course (September 30th through October 11th) that prepares you to help yourself, your family, and your neighbors during a disaster. Details and registration information.
